Since September first, Auditeers offers a broader set of services that help organizations generate more sales. One of those services is Technical SEO. That's why we released a new ad campaign: "This website could be 50% faster."

What is Technical SEO

Search Engine Optimalisation was for long the domain of content creators. For obvious reasons, Google and Bing pushed publishers to write meaningful and unique content. And when that content was well referred too (with incoming links), your content is considered good enough to climb in the Google rankings.

In the past couple of years, this changed. With content still being an essential factor, technical SEO is getting more relevant every year.

Technical SEO is the side of SEO that involves not the content itself, but how it is being served to the visitor.

What includes technical SEO?

Tecnical SEO consists of multiple disiplines.

  • The (perceived ) speed of the websiteHow fast does your website load, especially in non-optimal settings (like an unstable 3g connection)
  • The site's consistency - Are there no significant shifts when loading your website?
  • The site's accessibilityAre your websites, tools, and technologies designed and developed so that people with disabilities can use them?
  • The ability to crawl and index - Do search engines crawl your website with ease? And are they able to index your content in the right way?
  • Website security and privacy - Does your website run over https, are passwords hidden, is there a privacy policy? These and many more factors determine the level of security.
